Picture titles are, page 1 thumbnails left to right:
Set 1: La Playa, Mountain Dawn, Blue Desert, African Landscape, Sandstorm, Botarium.
Set 2: Sunrise, Pyramids, Sea Village, Casa de Campo, Pink Desert, Canalside.
These titles are in the filenames. Of course you are welcome to invent your own
titles, but if you want to contact us about a specific picture, please use ours!
The thumbnail images currently featured are all at 3:2 proportions.
However, as you can see, we offer images of many different sizes and proportions, to match the majority
of digital photo frames currently on the market.
None of the pictures have been cropped or enlarged from other pictures to
achieve this variety. Most of the pictures are fresh renderings of the associated digital
landscape. This means that the composition of each picture closely matches that of the parent
picture. (what's rendering?)
As you know, computers are very good at reducing image sizes but hopeless at
enlarging them. In cases of pictures of the same proportions but different sizes, a smaller
picture is a bilinear reduction of the largest.
A related tip: if you have picture software which can reduce picture size and a small
photo frame, you might consider buying a larger-size set of the same proportions, and make
copies of the pictures at the required reduced size yourself. You will then have a set of
the larger pictures to print. For example, if your frame is 640 x 480 pixels (4:3 proportions)
you might like to go for the 1024 x 768 pixel set (also 4:3).
Another related tip: we do not offer our pictures at anything smaller than 640 x 480 pixels
because we consider smaller sizes would not do them justice. However, if you have a small photo
frame of one of our featured proportions, you could use the above method to make yourself a set
of our pictures for it.
